In 2019, Disney has given a fresh, healthier twist on some of their food at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. This is great, because it provides a lot of different flavors and options for everyone. Today I’m going to show you my personal favorite dishes from the festival. I would highly recommend trying every dish below if you get the chance to visit this year!
The first item I’d like to touch on is the Lobster Tail with Meyer Lemon Emulsion at Citrus Blossom. Although it’s a small portion, this dish is a great choice for anyone who loves lobster or is looking for a gluten free option. The lemon adds a nice acidic flavor to the lobster, and it makes for a very nice flavor combination.
The next dish on my list is the Pizza Tuscana at Primavera Kitchen. This item was one of the most hyped up items for the festival. The pizza features sweet sausage, caramelized onions, and assorted cheeses. The pizza for me lives up to the hype and on the first few days was almost impossible to get. For me the Italian pavilion doesn’t always have the best food so I’m very happy that they have another great dish.
The last item that’s on my list is the Beef brisket burnt ends and smoked pork belly slider with garlic sausage, chorizo, cheddar fondue, and a house made pickle. This is one of the best options for anyone who loves meat, it’s a great mix of the savory taste from the meat and the and the spicy and sour from the pickle and chorizo. If you are hungry and looking for something filling this is a great option and it’s one of my personal favorites.
My final dish that I would recommend you try is the Beef Tenderloin tips with a mushroom bordelaise sauce which comes with assorted vegetables. The Canada pavilion is almost always a surefire way to get good food. I personally really like the beef in this case it has good flavor and texture. The beef falls apart in your mouth, and for the price I think this is one of the best options not only for taste, but for price as well.
