ABOUT THE ATTRACTION:
La Vibora is an Intamin Bobsled roller coaster. The ride simulates riding in an actual bobsled, with a car “sliding” down large half-pipes rather than on a track. “La Vibora” is Spanish for “The Viper”.
Opening Date: ?, ?, 1996
Bite-Sized Review: La Vibora is arguably the most unique roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas. The feeling of sliding “freely” down a bobsled track is something that can only be matched by other bobsled coasters (and bobsledding itself). The weird midcourse breaks in between each section are a bit rough and awkward, but they barely take away from the fun.
