Theme Parks First. Everything Else Next.
Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, formed by Cedar Point acquiring Valleyfair, has expanded significantly over the years, including the purchase of Paramount Parks in 2006. In 2023, Cedar Fair merged with Six Flags, becoming the largest theme park operator. This article ranks the 11 original Cedar Fair parks from worst to best.
On Monday, July 31st, my family and I visited Carowinds, a Cedar Fair theme park located on the border of North and South Carolina. We spent about 6 hours at the park, which was more than enough time to ride all of the coasters (minus the kiddie coasters). In fact, because the day seemed so much longer than usual and I took so many pictures, I figured this trip report should be split up into two parts. Back in April, I paid my first visit to Knott’s Berry Farm, a theme park located in Buena Park, California.
Xcelerator was manufactured by Intamin in 2002. The coaster has a height of 205 feet, a 90 degree drop, and an extremely intense launch acceleration of 0 – 82 mph in 2.3 seconds.
On Thursday, April 20th, my family and I visited our second theme park of the California trip: Knott’s Berry Farm!
Essentially what I’ve created here is a list of my predictions for what new attractions we’ll see at different North American theme parks in 2018. Keep in mind, all of these predictions are a mere combination of guessing and hoping. Even though I think something is going to happen next year, doesn’t mean it actually will.
