A Note from the Editor
While we’re all in quarantine, our Limitless Park crew thought it would be fun to create different Top 5 Roller Coaster lists and compare them with each other. These are meant to be concise lists that showcase what coasters each Limitless Park correspondent likes best. We hope you enjoy this series!
ANDREW KRIVSKY, EDITOR AND FOUNDER OF LIMITLESS PARK
Limitless Park Correspondent Drake Miller’s Top 5 Roller Coasters
What I look for in a good roller coaster usually follows 3 simple qualities: elements, intensity, and an overall rating of fun and re-rideability. In my top 5 list, I believe that these coasters have provided perfect examples of these three qualities in unique ways.
5.) Intimidator 305 – Kings Dominion
Intimidator 305 is by far the most intense coaster I have ever ridden! It has a breathtaking drop followed by sharp cuts and lateral g-forces that give a truly unique experience. It seems as if the coaster never actually slows down until the very end! I would love to visit Kings Dominion again in the future and get another ride on this amazing coaster.

4.) Twisted Colossus – Six Flags Magic Mountain
Out of all coasters in my top 5 line-up, Twisted Colossus wins the uniqueness category. It contains the elements of a great RMC hybrid that ensures re-rideability. That’s why the second circuit is a great addition to the coaster! Additionally, the dueling aspect takes bonus points for this coaster and provides a fun experience within itself.

3.) Millennium Force – Cedar Point
Millennium force has been one of my favorite coasters for the past 7 years. Although this coasters lacks uniqueness compared to others, I believe that the intensity and quality makes up for it. The drop has by far the most breathtaking view/scenery right on Lake Erie and it never fails to provide a great thrill! Additionally, the overbanked turns induce intense g-forces in all directions throughout the ride.

2.) Fury 325 – Carowinds
Fury 325 provides the best experience out of any of the four giga coasters that I have ridden. Not only is it the tallest and fastest giga that I have ridden, but I believe that it contains the largest amount of unique elements. The combination of the breathtaking drop, high speeds, and twists and turns ensures that riders will come back for more!

1.) Steel Vengeance – Cedar Point
When I rode Steel Vengeance for the first time, it absolutely blew me away! This RMC hybrid consists of all three qualities by providing a truly intense and fast-paced riding experience with several unique coaster elements. The substantial amount of air time and lateral g-forces never ends in this 3 minute experience! After riding it several times, I can confirm that it never gets old and I always look forward to riding it over and over again!

This concludes my top 5 coaster list. Thank you for reading and I hope everyone enjoyed it!
