Shanghai Disney Resort revealed details around its upcoming Zootopia-themed land, ready by 2023. This immersive expansion will feature a trackless dark ride, “Zootopia: Hot Pursuit”, set during a movie-based celebration, Zootopia Day. The park will also motivate guests to solve the mystery of a character’s disappearance. Alongside the entertainment, visitors can indulge in unique food experiences, collect Zootopia themed merchandise, and interact with popular characters from the film.
Bay Beach, a small amusement park in Green Bay, Wisconsin, acquired and opened a used Zamperla NebulaZ ride in 2023, funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act. Two rides, the Sea Dragon and the Chairplane, were discontinued to accommodate NebulaZ. Despite its late opening, NebulaZ offers a family thrill experience for an affordable price, contributing to the merits of Bay Beach in comparison to pricier parks like Six Flags Great America.
Limitless Park has ranked all 15 Six Flags theme parks across various criteria. Ranking last is Frontier City, criticized for its limited appeal to coaster enthusiasts. Six Flags over Texas, the original park, ranked sixth for its unique charm and above average coaster lineup. At the top is Six Flags Great Adventure, distinguished by its major attractions including Kingda Ka and El Toro. The site considers it the best for its variety and high-quality coaster lineup.
Andrew and Brandon Krivsky spent Labor Day Weekend at Kings Island theme park. Despite rain and crowd expectations, they encountered minimal wait times. They rode the re-tracked wooden roller coaster, Beast, and the new Giga Coaster, Orion. After eating at Panda Express, they rode Bat and took shelter in a Starbucks during a storm. Afterwards, they rode Mystic Timbers, Backlot Stunt Coaster, and Adventure Express. Their visit lasted 6 hours.
